why do mayweather fans overrate his win over hatton?

I agree, but i was just trying to make a point to those who claim that Hatton "called Floyd out" If what Hatton did was considered "calling him out", then Marg and Cotto also "called him out"

I could care less what anyone in the boxing world has to say. It is all bull**** everyone has a motive for what they say and claim. If you want to fight someone, it is all about the negotiating table either you are or are not willing to do what it takes to get a fight made. The champion has the big **** at that table (in most cases anyways).

          mayweather is bigger than hatton.

did the see the size difference in the weigh in? hatton was ripped but he is no welter, floyd has filled out now and looks like a decent size welter.

          floyd 5ft 8
          72" reach

          hatton 5ft 6 1/2
          65" reach

It happens to all fighters all the time, this is not exclusive to Mayweather. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Hatton is not the best fighter ever but he's also not the slow sob people wanted him to look like.

Your name fits because you must have been dazed for years. Is it height classes now. Like i said earlier in this thread I love when people bring up size about this fight. Floyd is not a welter, he fought at welter and had success at welter but that does not make him a big welter. Why did Hatton's people say we will not fight any welter, except for Floyd. Why does Floyd have to fight guy way bigger then him, would they have been more of a challenge then Hatton sure but that is only due to size.
Then why was he fighting at welter? Oscar De La Hoya began at 130. I guess he was a small welter too? Grow up and use some common sense.

Also (lol i'm quoting myself) Hatton was a pretty even match for Mayweather, and considering Mayweather is considered par with Jones the best of this generation, it takes nothing away from Hatton losing to him. As many people said, Hoya who fought Mayweather would beat ANYONE ELSE that night. Even the haters were saying that after the fight. Face it dude, Mayweather was the real deal, he is clearly not one of those who get to be Great by popular demand, as he'd probably lose almost all public polls for that. He's highly rated by: fellow fighters (not the ones about to fight him, trying to hype the fight but good fighters like Marquez, Mallignagui and others) and many specialist writers. This adds to his credibility. People rate him as the best of the modern era because he fought like the best of the modern era. The only one coming par/close/better (open for debate) was Jones Jr, in his prime, in the 90's.

The irony I can not believe you just said that. Ok Oscar drained himself to get to 130 very much so, 135 also. Oscar has a much bigger frame then Floyd so yes he is a real welter. You should take you own advice and use some common sence and quit making yourself look ****** when you address me.
