Cesar Figueroa Promises To Shock Juan Manuel Lopez

Cesar Figueroa has promised to shock WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez when the two fighters take the scales for their final weight check on Friday. They collide on October 4 in Puerto Rico. There was a lot of concern when Figueroa took the scales on September 3rd and weighed 147.8-pounds. Reporters says that Figueroa looks like a new man after already shedding off nearly 20-pounds. Figueroa says that he will weigh between 127-128 when taking the scales for a weight check. [details]

Figueroa is ranked something like 258th by boxrec. If he lasts more than about four rounds, I'll be surprised. Lopez deserves a gimmie, but too bad he couldn't have found somebody with a pulse

        to be fair with juanma...

non of the top-10 ranked were in the mood to fight him.... with that being said..

i defenitly think pr best boxing could still found a better opponent...

PR Best Boxing is the best promotional company in puerto rico but i must admit it STILL SUCKS!!! they are just exploting juanma draw power in pr.. to fill their pockets but arent putting him against a solid opponent cos that will Co$t them more moneyyyy... shame on them..

it seems that everybody is so impressed with juanma when his only and biggest fight is ponce de leon.

still a long way to go for juanma.
