Even I was taken a back by my statements. Boxing forums should always focus on the fighters, not gf/wife bashing, and not what kind of bra, top or panties girlfriends/fiances/wives wear.

I loved how on the countdown to his fight with Hopkins, he was saying how he's the real champ because he fought at the weight and place Hopkins wanted to, when in reality he said he'd been killing himself to make 168 anyway, and it was rumored but I'm not sure if confirmed that his contract with HBO stated he has to have that fight, no matter who it was, in America.

Someone had it in their sig or usertitle, I think it might have been T97 -"At the end of the day, I beat Kessler and Lacy". It just ****ing killed, there's just something about it. I think it's that the ultimate Calzaghe soundbite - in fact, his whole career can be summed up in it; boasting wins over fighters who aren't good enough to seal legacy.

It's hilarious that he keeps saying it, while we keep waiting for it.

As for his claims on the Countdown thing- doesn't surprise me. Joe is just so deluded. I think it's because genuinely, deep down, he's insecure about his legacy.
