Who really won Hagler/Leonard?

I think all can agree that the 118-110 scorecard for Leonard was a complete joke.

Other than that the scorecards were accurate. 115-113 for either guy, Leonard or Hagler, is not a robbery.

Me and my pops have watched that fight mad times. I woulda liked for Hagler to win and think he did, but I won't argue wit the SRL victory. In close fights, from a judges POV I prefer harder punches landed more than volume.

I had Hagler winning based on harder punching and body shots...his body shots were the main reason he won some of the close early rounds. most people will usually score head shots higher than body shots, but overall I thought his body attack was doing more damage than Leonard's head shots.

I can see why people would have Leonard winning in a close fight, even if I dont personally agree with it. just depends on your scoring criteria.

an odd thing about that fight is that Leonard was doing bolo punches to the body, and once or twice they ended up hitting Hagler hard in the leg, of all places. also a lot of his best moments were after the round, and I dont score points for either of those things.
