I wonder if Gatti is having money problems...

the guy made tons of money. hbo contract fighters do more than alright. and supposedly he had money invested in real estate. i'm not saying it's impossible for him to be having money problems, but it's unlikely.

Gatti is one of my all time favorite fighters. I loved to watch him fight, and show the heart he did. Unfortunetly I dont think he has anything left in him. I dont want him to come back, he has his kids to think about. Declaire is a decent up and coming fighter, but doesnt posses the power to damage Gatti anymore than he already is. But the people close to him have to tell him not to get back into the ring. Unless he can get ONE more gimme fight, it should be the end of the road for the ultimate blood and guts warior.

Arturo Gatti has always had brilliant choices about finding fighters (usually foreign/white) with good records and/or a belt that he can beat. He built a career on that.

There are VERY FEW good-paying jobs in the boxing industry.
