You still don't get it do you?
America = North America
Americas (note the pluralisation here) ecompasses North and South America INCLUDING Central America (where Mexico is).
Point trying to be made: Barreras fanbase was largely concentrated within the Americas (I've already iterated this point in my previous post, the first post was a typo, I meant to say 'Americas'), be it in the North America or within within Mexico (still part of the wider American continent(s)). I don't see what is so difficult to understand. Never mind my original point, I attempted to clear it up in my second post but you ignored it and reverted to my typo so make your point. This is my second time trying to get my point across now. I hope you are tuned in now.
Barrera's fanbase = large pan-American (that doesn't just include North America but other parts like central America too).
Hamed's fanbase = largely UK, Middle East, Far East, Australia and other ****** nations.
Therefore Hamed can be seen to be THE draw in this fight. Most had never heard of Barrera (true FACT, you might not be able to understand this however because you are so mentally isolated) and just wanted to watch Hamed en route to another knockout.
So to sum up....
YOU fail
You get a D minus for your efforts though.Last edited by CasperUK; 09-24-2008, 08:51 AM.Comment

I figured that's what it was. Otherwise, why such a nasty, crying, temper tantrum of a response to something I said when I was'nt even addressing him.
If that's what he's mad about then he'll always be mad because Hamed got manhandled like a girl.

So you made a mistake?
That was a typo? I don't think so. Don't take your shots and then backpeddle. A typo is a spelling error.Comment

That's your riposte, arguing with me over whether I made a typo or not? Here's a tip, don't EVER decide to become a lawyer.
For the record, I rectified my error in the two subseqent posts I made, neither of which you chose to analyse (especially the last one) and you're still sticking with the whole 'America' v 'Americas' argument? How about answering my last post?
As I said, don't give up your day job.Comment

It was'nt a typo, it was an entire paragraph in which you mentioned "America" several times.
Of course, because you got called out and so you completely reversed yourself, saying your entire first post was a simply a giant typo.
I have nothing to say about who was the bigger draw. I could'nt care less. I never said one word about it.
You're either confusing me with another poster, or you're trying to get me to argue about something I have no interest in.Comment
