I wouldn't say he nearly beat Cotto.. Cotto won pretty impressively and gave some rounds away. Anyway, from the press conferences it looked like Mayorga and Mosley actually liked each other. Mosley didn't seem at all faced about what he was saying.. He knows the deal.

Mosley has better defense, is more polished, and is faster than Mayo, so it gives that appearance.
Mayo just isnt a great boxer, gets hit cleanly alot, and doesnt throw his punches properly.
I think Mayo has more raw power than Shane.

To those people talking about how Mayorga barely got past a washed up Vargas with back problems, remember that that fight was at a higher weight.
