Would a real champ at the weight not want to unify titles way before 18-20 defenses against limited and meaningless competition? I would think he would have wanted to call out other title holders to unify and clear up the division before thinking he was anything dynamic. I'm sure it will be a great fight and i'm sure Roy is being underestimated but I cant promise anything. I will say Jones wont be scared of Joe's power (lack of) which is what and the only way you defeat Jones on points, by having him scared.

As EVERYONE knows "Joe is not known for his power". Jones is physically and more importantly mentally ready for a slap-fest from Joe. Who has won the last how many fights this way? When has his power dropped someone and really had them scared and hurt?

I assure you Jones will fight and make fun of Joe's style in the ring. Be assured to have the crowd laugh at Joe. For Jones will imitate and mock him and his wild slapping style. That's Roy, that's what Roy will do regardless if he's winning or losing.

Roy's style is just way wrong for Joe. I knew it a long time ago and was frothing at the mouth when Joe signed the fight. I knew if Roy could fool Calzaghe into taking the fight, he would do the rest in the ring. If Joe thought he could lose, he would not have signed. Joe was ill-advised for taking this fight and would have faired better with Pavlik. (Even tho i'm not sure about that)
