vargas vs trinidad= ALL TIME GREAT FIGHT.
Video: Trinidad's Top 10 Wins

I aggree. King tried and tried to get someone to beat Hopkins to no end but failed.
Imo, Keith Holmes was better then Joppy. If Holmes would have fought Trinidad it would have been an even war or a boxing clinic. You see Hopkins use every tactic to defeat Holmes because he was a good fighter.
Just like with all fighters, you find holes in that list.
And i don't think Trinidad was every a jr. welterweight?
I would rank the Delahoya win as his number 1 win. But Vargas did without a doubt give Trinidad his toughest test. The only fighter to make Trinidad cry and i mean cry and talk about retireing. I didn't think Trinidad was going to be the same fighter but it was Vargas who lost a step after there fight.
Also i dod recall at the time Thiam and Barnes were a big deal when Trinidad fought them as well as Campas and Carr and i think both them should be moved higher on that list.Comment

people will always try and minimize tito's accomplishments.
he was going threw divisions like nothing.
the oscar fight is meh, give or take really wasn't anything more than a draw to me.
oscar looked great and flat outran for the last 4 rounds.
the hopkins fight would have merited a rematch, no matter how much he was outclassed.
it would have been at least more worth while watching than fights like, daniels, hakkar, and joppy.
hop gets respect for being the first undisputed middlweight champ since hagler(i think)
but it's clear he wasn't ready to let the gravy train of being the first to defeat the fearsome trinidad go.
he's to savvy for that ****.
and trinidad started his career at juniorwelter.
and as far as crying, floyd cries after every fight
that has nothing to do with anything.

God, this video really shows how tremendous Trinidad's resume was. The combined record of the top 10 was 329-12-1, and NONE of them were sheltered, protected ****ty fighters.
Every single fighter in the top 10 won a world title in their career on at least one occassion, excluding Oba Carr, and all of them had won that title previous to their fight with Trinidad, excluding Yory Boy Campas.
Just and absolutely incredible resume of nothing but wins for Trinidad.
Yes and I got jumped on for saying Tito was GREATER then JCC. Forgot what thread it wasComment

I loved the first round. In the last seconds, Joppy holds on for dear life and it looks like Trinidad is saying "Get the **** off me you ***" lol
With his two hands on his face lol.Comment
