Conyers has big time power so the fact that Kirkland took his best shot, got up, and then knocked him out says good things about his chin.

Conyers is a much harder hitter, p4p, than bredies prescott.

If he had a glass chin he would have stayed down or been more wobbly. That video is not enough proof to say he has a glass chin like the topic creator ignorantly said so.

agreed, like i said right above your post, this video makes his chin look solid.

he got put down by a huge straight right hand moving backwards and when he got up his legs looked solid and he looked ready to murder someone.

how can you not love this guy?

I've been looking discussions about Kirkland vs Angulo, Kirkland vs Maritosyan, but I think he ends up knocked out by both guys. Guys tries to take you out early like Mike Tyson, but he does not have Tyson's chin or defense. Even in his last fight, everytime he got hit he was stunned. Who knows if he didn't illegally hit the guy on the way down, the fight could've gone another round and we could've seen Kirkland hit the canvas like he has before.

I am not hating on the guy he's more exciting than either Angulo or Kirkland, but I will put an even bet on either Vanes or Angulo that they take him out.

Ive read a few gym reports that talk about how much Kirkland loves to hit and GET HIT...I think whoever started this thread needs to calm down a bit...James Kirlkland has yet to show us a great chin or a ****ty chin.

Andre Ward appears to have a shaky chin-been wobbled on a number of occasions and has been moved in slow motion.

I've read article that says Anne Wolfe has him in the ring with like 5 to 7 people and he has to keep his hands BEHIND his back while the other guys try to hit him. She says they do work on his defense and his body movement to try to avoid being hit, but the first priority is murder the opponent quickly. If that doesn't work apparently she says they are training him on a plan b and plan c, we just haven't actually had a chance to see it yet because plan a has always worked

she is the perfect trainer for him, I love her attitude.

I hope that he wins a world title just to validate wolfe as a respected trainer.

You're forgetting that Angulo was almost KTFO in his last fight.

I've never seen Kirkland hurt that bad.

Kirkland has you SHOOK lil mexican...keep on hating..that's all you have.

                    He stomps Angulo anyday.

Same here. I'm sure once he snags a belt her stable of fighters will grow. She's gaining quite a reputation for herself as a legitimate trainer, and from what I've read/heard, she is no joke and is one of the most demanding/physical trainers out there.

If he does get a belt, she/they will make history (first woman trainer in history to train a male fighter and win a belt).
