I think the most important thing to keep in mind is that a good punch will affect a quicker fighter more than a slower fighter as far as their game plans go. If a slower fighter gets hit, it won't affect his gameplan as much as a fast fighter who relies on quickness/evasiveness. When talking about their chins, it makes no difference....

It's either you can take a punch or you can't. Having quickness only provides a better opportunity to avoid bombs, but it doesn't mean slower fighter can absorb punches better. They give that impression because we see them get hit a lot more.

And LOL @ Mayorga's "trick" and trying that against Tito...hehe. What a dumb ass.

I just remember on youtube there was this kid who asked another kid to punch him in the face, the kid did and left the other kid unconcious, so yeah seeing the punch come at you doesn't mean you could take the punch

Well it's rather simple isn't it? If you can see the punch coming you can brace your muscles and roll with the punch ,to minimise the damage on impact. It's a matter of technique.

I think it has more to do with being relaxed and being able to roll with the punches

i gotta admit it's a question that looks like a dumb question, but i thought about this when someone asked the question, about how certain big time punchers are chinny, and i thought it was cause they're always on the attack, so they get caught with **** in the middle of attacking.
