Which is the better reality show. Ultimate fighter or Contender?

I like the contender because it's boxing obviously and I don't like MMA, but the Ulitmate Fighter seems to have more of high caliber fighters on their show that actually go on to do something. (see: Forrest Griffin).

forrest griffins's fight must have been fixed. there's no way that guy shoulda won. he may have had a higher work rate in the fight, but he was hittin nothing. jackson's shots were much cleaner, but he wasn't impressive either that fight.

Without a doubt hands down the Ultimate Fighter show is leagues above that gay ass show Contender. At least on the Ultimate Fighter they are true athletes who compete at a higher level than those guys on The Pretender show.

Besides, did you guys see Sakio Bika's wife? That alone made me never want to tune in to the Contender again.

i'm not a huge fan of either show . . . but the ultimate fighter is the better show imo

Actually, that is only a sign of what low caliber fighters are in the UFC. In boxing reality stars go on to get demolished by legitimate champions.

In the UFC, reality stars go on to beat "legitimate" champions.

What does being a reality star have anything to do with level of talent?? Griffin legitimately beat rampage jackson who I guarantee you would have you ****tin yourself if you had the misfortune of meeting in a dark alley

Ultimate Fighter, like someone else said the contender is over dramatised and lame, i dont need to hear sound effects all the way through the fight.. but still Boxing > MMA

The Contender is too movie like. I don't like how they play music, slow motions and cut serval minutes out of fights in The Contender.

everythin... if your a reality star, fans are not goin to want to see you lose and promoters and matchmakers know that. that's why they feed the reality stars fighters to beat on to make them look good or fix the fight in favour of the reality star. if you saw the matt hammil vs michael bisping fight, you know for a fact hammil won that fight. but they gave it to the home crowd guy and the winner of the show. forrest griffin had the cinderella story. he won the first show in an excitin fashion, climb up the ladder beatin up on lesser talent and "won" the light heavyweight belt.
