Margarito Almost knocks Santos head off

I was surprised to hear him gettin salty after th Williams fight cuz he lost that one fair and square. If his haters wanna knock him, I wonder why they don't talk more about that fight instead of bringin up a bull**** TD for Santos. Marg refused to ***** about it, but I thought he got more of a raw deal on this one than he did against Williams. Fight was even after 6, and Marg won every rd after that. The decision was shady, although it was war and both guys got hurt.

Cause everyone knows that everytime Margs loses his fans blame:

Puerto Rico, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar, White racist Americans, Puerto Rico, Weight issues, 12 rounds instead of 15 round fights, off nights, or the fact that Marg was "coming on strong" "but didn't have enough time to kill" X opponent.

Everyone in other words, other than you know: Margarito.

santos had him hurt a few times in the early stages of that fight, but that doesn't change that fact that margo was digging in-in the later rounds. folks who say that santos did this, and santos did that, never saw the fight, or are margo haters, plain and simple.

some seem to forget that the fight was in PR, and santos didn't have much of a lead at all(when the cards were announced).

margo would have won that fight(if not for the cut), but he didn't(i hate that he didn't), but for folks on this and every other boxing board that hate margo to say, santos beat his ass, is just plain dumb. or maybe they are just someone that visited cotto's website(before the cotto and margo fight) and saw the highlights of the fight where they made it seem as margo was getting killed, then talk like they saw the fight.

I saw that fight when it was first aired and I never once set foot on the Cotto site. I'm not even a big Cotto fan.

How can acknowledging Santos' efforts automatically make you a Margo hater, or mean that you didn't see that fight? Some people believe that it's only their opinion that counts and those who disagree with them are quickly labeled dumb when none of us fans have it right all the time.

Maybe the home court advantage had something to do with it but it wasn't a lopsided fight. Both were getting hurt or having their moments at some point or another during the rounds. I wouldn't have minded if either guy won because you can argue for both camps when the doc interfered but I was disappointed as much as anyone by the technical ending especially when you factor in their first encounter.

Both guys could've done something to make it more definite for themselves if that fight was allowed to continue but presuming that only Tony would've taken it without any doubt shows bias because Santos also had a big round in the latter stages of that fight and he too could've pulled it off.

Obviously at 154 Santos (who was 170 during the fight) could take his power while a midget welter like Cotto couldn't. This is one of the reasons Margarito went back to 147.
