Sure he's been hurt, he's been down.

But was all of that because of making the cruiserweight limit, will heavyweight help his chin alot/at all.

Don't forget he does have one TKO loss against his name, but he was still standing at the end of the fight.

Probably not but as soon as one source calls him "chinny" than all of the detractors jump on the bandwagon.

No. He gets hit hard and comes back. He went down against Mormeck but recovered quickly and won by KO.

That said, he does have a poor chin but the way people talk it's as though he's the second coming of Earnie Shavers.

He was hurt by Mock which isn't so good and he was hurt by Thompson but he did ship a few punches in the Thompson fight before going down and he was still on his feet when the fight was stopped. In the Mormeck fight Haye actually took a fair few power punches flush on the chin and didn't get hurt, he was caught in the corner and went down but that punch was on the top of the head rather than on the chin and was partly due to a slip.

At cruiserweight his chin was more than good enough, i dont know what it will be like at heavy though.

People's chins are usually exaggerated, Wlad's case in point. But considering the number of times Haye has been hurt in 20 or so fights against mediocre competition, his definitely isn't the greatest. Luckily he has good reflexes and one punch KO power, so he might be pretty successful at HW, if he can keep his speed while carrying the extra pounds. Since he weighed 217 for his recent HW fight, before going back down to CW, I'm not buying the weight drained excuse. That's less than 8% BW to lose, not much compared to guys like Williams, Guzman or Pacquiao.

Getting knocked down by Mormeck is no shame!! I think its to soon to call Haye chin china but its certainly not iron. Lets see how hiy chin holds up at heavyweight with more bulk and without the weight draining.

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if Mormeck hits harder than guys like Byrd and Chambers.
