Vanes will get EXPOSED and STOPPED

There's two kind of prospects in boxing...One kind is an over hyped, over protected, carefully matched, untested prospect like DUDDY, CHAVEZ JR., KHAN, ect...the SECOND kind of prospect is a very skilled, not too flashy, workerman's face, where you get the sense that one day he WILL become champion...First time I did a "prospect check" was many moons ago when I warned everyone about PAVLIK becoming the next big thing while everyone was still stuck on TAYLOR, MIRANDA, and ABRAHAM...and now, everybody jumped on my PAVLIK wagon...here we go again with the "prospect check"... everybody look out for VANES MARTIROSYAN...this guy has it all, poise, combo speed, decent power, and most importantly, a solid chin....I've seen him get put under pressure, and get walloped hard that his neck snapped and what I admire about him is HOW he handles preassure...u see, alot of todays prospects wont be thrown in there with raw dogs...they would rather have a glorified sparring session..But VANES is an all around fighter, folks...when you have sound, text book style, solid fundamentals, you can never go wrong...VANES might not be all up in the camera talking crap like MALIGNAGGI, he's all work no party, like PAVLIK...Dont be surprized when you see VANES slowly creep into P.P.V undercards, then headline, mabey against another "prospect"...but I have a strong feeling that he's gonna be champ before he eats his first loss...i was right before, im gonna be right again....

I did not see Vanes fight this weekend, No where in the UK showed it and I didn't feel compelled to stay up to watch it on a stream. I havn't seen a lot of him at all really, but he does look like a good fighter. Yes, he does make mistakes. But he is a young prospect, so he has time to fix them (As long as he does fix them, and doesn't get KTFO because of them). If I am right, he is a Light-Middle? If i'm right on that, then it is a very weak division so he does have a good chance of winning a title.

My favorite fighter is Jean Pascal, and he is far from being Armenian. If you reread the posts, there was nothing wrong with them until a certain somebody started with racist remarks and generalization with a couple of people agreeing or thinking it is funny! No worries, I was just saying how you shouldn't reply to rasicm with racism. Although, I have done the same thing many times. It's hard not to do, someone insults your race, you insult them back etc.

did Vanes have room for improvement?? YES OF COURSE...
were there defensive mistakes? YES OF COURSE

did he take nasty shots and prove he has a solid chin?? YES OF COURSE
did he give out some nasty powerful shots stunning Medina?? YES OF COURSE
did Medina surprise us with a solid chin and good power? YES

at the end... did Vanes win a good yet tough UD 10 against a guy that had never seen defeat?? YES HE DAMN WELL DID

At least you admit it was childish. Just stay away from racism it never leads to good places. If you want to start a thread about a certain fighter that will lead many of his pissed off fans against you thats another thing, but when you make comments about a whole race that unacceptable and most people will start making commnets about your race. Its a slippery slope that does not go anywhere good. This is a boxing forum and I propose we keep it that way.
