Cotto has an average chin at best as a Welterweight yet Mosley never sent him on ***** street with a headshot over 12 rounds. Margarito despite not landing any significant wild haymakers on Cotto had him out on his feet in rounds 7 and 10 with short punches. Mosley has great speed but does not possess heavyhanded power like Margarito.

sometimes when you throwing for nothing more than volume you take off the steam on your punches. Ponce is a perfect example of that. There are times when he sits down on his shots and one punch KOs people yet there are times when he throws sheer volume where you can see him square up more and plant less

For a speed guy, Mosley is pretty easy to hit and was very discouraged by Cotto's punches by the 5th round. I don't see how he can knock Margarito out, so if he goes into the fight with that mindset, he will lose. Mosley looks horrible against bigger opponents.

I am picking Mayorga in this fight. Shane's defense is primarily his reflexes, which aren't what they used to be. He doesn't slide or block well either. I think Mayorga will be able to land and hurt Shane. His bad trainer won't give any good advice. Mayorga by 10th rd KO.
