Yeah. He was undefeated, then he fought some tough Mongolian geezer, got KTFO. Won a fight, then landed a fight on the undercard this weekend (A card promoted by David Haye) against a 12-0 4KO guy called Lindsay, it was a good fight. Behin on points in the 9th round (It was a 10 rounder) Lindsey landed a beautiful left hook, and Matthews went down. He was out of it before he landed.

I'll try to get a video at some point, great KO.

Where do we draw the line as to what is a normal ko and what is a brutal one?

Is it when the opponent doesnt get up from the canvas or can it also be taking sustained savage punishment until the ref stops it?

That DeLeon gif was brutal... the guy was totally out. They needed to get the smelling salts to wake him up.

So we're agreed on the criteria that makes it a brutal ko?

Would you say Wlad V Thomson was a brutal KO?

                      Is this a serious question?

Isn't it really obvious what a brutal KO is?

For the best answer to this question, just look at the following - For a brutal KO watch Herol Graham vs Julian Jackson. For a not so brutal KO watch Juan M. Marquez vs Jimrex Jaca.

First of all, to be brutal, the opponent actually has to be knocked out, not TKO'd. Secondly, and we're talking in rather broad terms here, it has to be from a hard one punch shot to the chin. Hopkins' full count KO of Oscar was not brutal, whereas Gatti's KO of Gamache was scarily brutal.

Taking sustained punishment for many rounds equals a brutal fight, not KO.
