Also, I hope Peter's handlers have addressed his rabit punching and have corrected the problem. Peter has been one or two rabit punches away from a DQ in several of his fights. It would be a shame to lose the fight on a DQ...

He's going lose anyways, so it doesn't matter which way... But beside that fact, sam peter has fought 31 fights and to my knowledge has always rabbit punches his opponents and still hasn't been dq'd. If they haven't dq'd him yet, I don't know if they will unless they actually have a good ref who is doing there job for once.

I'm sure Vitali will be in terrific shape. The big question is, when the bell rings will he have his timing back after such a long layoff? All the sparring in the world doesn't reveal that. We won't know until the fight starts. There is almost nothing that would surprise me in this fight.

Peter was forced into it by WBC, anyway how do we know what vitali is gonna show up he was hardly impresive against byrd even before the shoulder and after a 4 year lay of he will be rusty, Would you consider the winner of this to be the linear champ?

Hardly impressive???? he beat Byrd around the ring until he hurt himself.. he was up 8-2 twice and 9-1 on the judges cards..

What was wrong was.. even if he just ran for the last 2 rounds.. there was no way Byrd could have won, short of Knocking Vitali out.. and we know that wouldnt happen.. SO it's very odd he quit
