There has to be money/tv in it as well for it to be worth the risk, so it's not just up to the fighters. Kessler hasn't done himself any favors by backing out on Miranda and not seeking out known American-based fighters... he will probably have to fight and convincingly beat a B tier guy (again, Miranda would have been perfect) before making his way to the big money guys like Taylor or Pavlik. Otherwise, regardless of whether any top fighter wants to fight him, the tv money won't be there to make it worth their time.

No "Yanks" wanted to fight him because Calzaghe vs. Kessler did the worst numbers of all time on HBO, that and the fact that Kessler pulled out of the Miranda fight last minute to fight Sartison. Beating Miranda would've opened a lot more doors for Kessler before AA exposed Miranda in their second fight.

So you tell me exactly why Kessler wont fight any yanks in the above post. It appears that you agree with me: He is fighting Haussler because he cannot get any yank to share the ring with him. So it's not exactly because he's scared to fight the best, but rather that the best are scared to fight him to use your own logic.

This will be Kessler's 2nd tomato can in a row, if he goes for a third then **** him. He's at a crucial point in his career and adding more Sartisons and Hausslers to his already padded rec is going to get him nowhere. Well except for his fans on NSB.

You are extremely consumed with ******ity. I don't hate any boxer I hate their career choices. I was a fan of Calzaghe until he decided to fight RJJ and then retire. I understand Calzaghe fans really appreciate the first 40 wins of his career but I am not at all impressed by his level of competition and hold Kessler to the same standards. I see these guys as very talented but scared to lose and scared to fight the best. I believe ESPN even had him on the list of boxers making bad career choices. Get over it. I don't respect boxers that are content fighting soft competition and padding their record.

Apparently he sucks bad. Kessler's promoter believes it such a mismatch that he intentionally lost the purse bid so as to avoid a potential tragedy occuring on danish soil.

That is some pretty bad sucking.

Apparently Kessler doesn't take this fight serious. They are still not sure when he'll start sparring. And no sparringpartners will be called in. He'll spar with the guys in the local gym in Copenhagen. Trainer Richard Olsen also says that the local guys are better than imported sparringpartners.

Nuff said I guess.............
