    1. Too many boxing commissions/belts
    2. Promoters who **** up boxing.
    3. PPV's costing a **** load. I wonder how much is really costs for HBO/Showtime to host these events compared to how much everything brought in.

          many reasons

The 3 main reasons for me are:
1)promoters politickings and greed.--- as pacman always said, I am not afraid to fight anybody but ask my promoters!!WHY?Everybody knows why!!.LET BOB ARUM, DON KING ETC RETIRED AND HOPEFULLY BOXING WILL RETURN TO ITS OLD GLORY...THEY HAVE DONE GOOD THINGS IN BOXING BEFORE BUT NOT LATELY..LET THEM BE A CANDIDATE FOR SENATOR OR GOVERNOR IN THEIR RESPECTIVE AREAS.

2)poor judging of referees and scorers --- how many times we can experience bias officiating of referees and one sided scoring..if you are a boxing fan what would you feel? Of course we feel betrayed by these officials whose main job is to protect the integrity of boxing. What disciplinary action do they gave to these erring officials..suspend them, fined them and retired the old referees!!!

3)too many sanctioning bodies --- we must have at least two only like before (WBC AND WBA) so the unufication is mandatory except for the intervention again of these promoters...

              1. Quoting Larry Merchant in the Guzman-Soto fight:
"You want a belt? I'll give you a belt. Go to Saxs Fifth Avenue I'll buy you a belt."

              2. Don King, Oscar De La Hoya, ie. the promoters.

              3. Mismatched mandatories. Anybody remember the one-handed performance by Wlad against Ray Austin?
