The biggest problem in boxing....well thats going to take a list, but one of the problems I see is the lack of coverage by the media which is killing any hope of turning kids onto boxing. When they see basketball and football stars earning millions and on tv in prime time it's more likely they'll go that route over the more dangerous but potentially more lucrative world of pro boxing.

      Honestly? It's those Latino fighters that I can't believe are allowed to go pro, I mean I tune in to telefutura sometimes and I see some 2 complete scrubs going at it and I'm thinking;
"How can this be pleasing to anybody?"

Too much corruption too, they allow some out of shape fat bitches to fight and that **** does nothing but harm the sport.

thats it only shown on hbo/showtime and ppv. if espn had more dedication to boxing or showed championship matches live. and good fights arent replayed enough, if cotto/margarito was aired on espn instead of poker and advertised during the week. i think visibilty and advertisment is main problem

My biggest complaint is the number of belts. Just have one. I don't like the PPV and how the big fights aren't easily accessible. You either need to have HBO or Showtime or dish out a **** load of money to watch PPV. I also don't like some of the scoring.

                these ****** P4P lists

the two best fighters of the last 10/15 years Jones and Mayweather have both blatently avoided their biggest challenges i know they will try and hide behind excuses but

and the more fans sympathise with politics of the sport then THE best fighter of a particular era will avoid his potentially toughest oponents IMO

Roy 60 /40 i already beat you one time so ****ing what you are suposed to be the best fighter in the world make the fight and keep showing us that you are the best fighter in the world that is why you are getting paid more than anyone else not fighting Police men etc

                  1. Fighters should be more demanding of their promoters. **** what he wants..... The fighter and his Manager should make the choices of WHO, WHEN and Where.

                  2. Too many org's and belts. The only way to cut down on ABC ORG's is to have the fighters deny their belts and rankings (ain't happening).

                  3. Time and Time again you see corruption or favoritism. example...

I went to see Holt vs Torres 2, on the undercard were about 2 or 3 fighters trained by Freddie Roach. His fighters lost those fights and were given gift wins, now with Top Rank promoting the event, and Roach training the best top rank fighter.... it's kind of hard not to see how officials lean a certain way, especially when these fights are not televised.

                  4. (BONUS) I HATE, that PPV's don't show the ENTIRE CARD!!!!! Why do we only get 2-4 fights? This is one of the reasons I love buying tickets to the events. You get to see all the prospects and up and comers. Tons of good fights aren't being watched, and that's the promoters fault.

                    In no order

-Piss poor judging. I have watched several fights with "casual" boxing fans over the years, and all it took to turn alot of them off was one or two terrible, obviously bought off calls. Holyfield v Lewis 1 comes to mind. I think in the general public, most of them assume fights are rigged ahead of time. Clean that up first and foremost. I know as a fan, I hate it when I go into a fight thinking "Man, he had better knock him out or he has no chance." Calla spade a spade and be done with it.

-The best need to fight the best. I know its safer and "smarter" for very good fighters to fight old name fighters over other very good young, prime fighters, but it isnt good for the sport at all. I miss the days when you knew who the best was in each division, and you knew this because the best fought to be the best. Now the sport seems like it is all talk and all about money. That may impress high school kids, but that turns off everyone else.

-One champ per weight. Having 12 paper champs is ****in ******ed (no offense) and insults us all. One title means one champ. THE champ. Not just A champ.

-How about having a big(ish) fight on ABC or NBC in primetime for once? You cant tell me that if you had a big enough fight you couldnt get it to work. Sure you may lose money on not having a big(ish) fight on PPV, but you will bring in more PPV buying fans.

                      1) No legitimate heavyweight champion / PPV
                      2) Shady scoring
                      3) Too many weight division
