I remember seeing him fight in the mid 90's on Showtime he was very exciting and contraversal to watch he fought, just like Hatton no bull**** they could fight. But, i didn't really know the fighters Calzaghe fought but i do recall some gave him good fights. I do recall he stopped a good American contender can't remember his name but he's middle eastern background, that was a good win, thinking back he actually did have some good wins. Just sucks he's starting to fight in America now. But if and when he beats Roy, he needs to fight the winner of Tarver v. Dawson then he can retire as the best lh that was cement his legacy i think.

Calzaghe is a good few years removed from his prime.
