I'm no hater, trust me. I love PR boxers, especially Cotto who is a true champion even after his loss. If we go with what you said at the end, then why is your boy JML fighting a 200+ ranked dude? He's a champion, atleast fight like one. Talk about milking the rivalry.

To be a champion you not only have to win it, but defend it against legit competition. This fight with Figeroa is a Zsolt Erdei move in my opinion.
