    Who's lying Calzaghe or Pavlik?

Calzaghe says they offered Team Pavlik a chance to fight him twice and Team Pavlik declined. Pavlik denied such thing happening. Who's lying? At the end of the day, Calzaghe might not even get past Roy Jones and Pavlik might end up a victim of the executioner. Remember, fighters past their days always have one good fight left in them.

Who's got a reason to lie? The ducker or the ducked?

            Neither.

Calzaghe wanted a tune-up following Lacy and thought fighting another Yank would get him more exposure. Pavlik fits the bill. He asked for Pavlik. Feelers were sent out, nothing concrete.

Pavliks team/promoter quashed it straight out, wanting Pavlik to carry on working his way up the 160 ladder. Pavlik has talked at length about being proud to be the middleweight champ and wanting to defend the titles after he won them. He probably wasnt even aware of any offer.

Thats just my opinion. Who knows though?

He asked to fight an unknown middle weight(at that time) instead of a super middle weight? What to pad his record? Calz is blowing smoke up everyones ass and its quite obvious...

He ended up fighting Bika........he was obviously looking for a tune-up fight. Pavlik being American was a bonus.
