Hatton: "Pacquiao at 140 or De La Hoya at 147 Next"

Ricky Hatton is dead set on facing the winner of Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao, taking place on December 6 in Las Vegas. Hatton fights a few weeks earlier, in Las Vegas, against IBF junior welterweight champ Paulie Malignaggi. Last week, De La Hoya said that he was willing to share the services of trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. with Hatton. In order to do so, Hatton would have to train up in Big Bear, California where De La Hoya is setting up camp. [details]

Hatton really seems fixated on the whole Pound For Pound Title.

gets the ex P4P#1's father to train him.

says he wants to face the winner of DLH-Pacquiao because "they'd be the new #1 Pound for Pound"

and Ricky would fight Pacquiao regardless post DLH.

        psh.

he should fight pac-man next year and look to retire after that, he should stay away from de la hoya. Hard to see who Hatton could fight at wembley though as that would be an amazing 90,000 sell out!

LOL. Hatton is one of the biggest draws in boxing, it's fighters like Pac who want to fight Hatton because he brings a **** load of money to the table.

I think it'll be Pacquiao, win or lose against DLH.

I think there will be no Fhatton-ODLH "The Golden Crocodile" next year because Pacman will going to send ODLH into retirement with a broken ribs....

and probably Pacman will be the one to fight Ricky Fhatton on June 2009.

and another great boxer from Manchester with a huge fanbase will be retiring soon.
