The only way Lacy beats Taylor is catching him with a lucky punch during the boxing lesson Taylor will be giving him. So even if he wins, I doubt he'll look good doing it. But it would raise his stock some and would probably result in a shot at the Froch/Pascal winner.

For Taylor, a loss - even by one unlucky punch - would send his career spiraling downward. His second KO loss in three fights would pretty much end his career.

        What I don't understand is.

If Taylor really is Lacy's friend, why is he knowingly going to pound him, ruin his career, just to un-necessarily boost his own.

If Lacy is an intelligent guy, why the **** after being shown his limits, is he fighting someone way above his league, yet again.

Damn, now thats a hatefree prediction right there. Many discredit Lacy with good reason.

I see this one going to Taylor by KO eraly rounds.

Ozell Nelson, his trainer, was actually the one to say that. But Taylor has done his ring walk to country music before, so he's probably a fan too.

I don't know how good their friendship is now. I know they used to be roommates for the olympics and friendly, but it sounds like there was a rivalry there too, with them being frequent sparring partners. I think they have been wanting to get at each other for a long time; not in a vicious way, but definitely for bragging rights.

Plus Lacy is best friends with the Winkster, who we know probably isn't too cool with JT after that decision in Memphis.
