Better shot at beating Hatton: Marquez or Pacquiao.

Personally I think Marquez has a better shot, but Pacquiao definietly has a better shot at beating De La Hoya then Marquez would.

I think Pacquiao, he's bigger, he's faster and his best punch is his left hand, he has more chance of hurting Hatton than Marquez IMO.

Pacman. I'd favor Hatton over JMM style wise. His countering **** ain't gonna work against someone who gets close enough to dry hump you. JMM needs his distance and he ain't gonna get it. Pac on the other hand can trade with Hatton and outbox him.

i agree silencers san, as i find i do with most of your posts. i think pacquiao's power advantage over jmm would be a factor. i do think both men could beat hatton at this point though. hatton has not looked good in his last fights. he likes his brew like miyagi likes sake.

Hatton-Pacquiao will be more like the Diaz fight.. Hatton will eat all the combination punches of Pac.. Hatton would bully JMM..

          Pac TKO 10 Hatton

          Hatton KO JMM Round 2

its hard to choose who would have a better shot.

Pacquiao would probably out muscle him and eventually stop him via TKO.

we seen hatton get hurt from lazcano...probably a result of the massive weight gains and weight losses inbetween fights...

so if someone like lazcano can hurt hatton someone with the strength and speed of pacquiao would hurt him more easily.

JMM would lay back and counter ricky's wide punches all night.

To be honest i'd have to lean towards pacquaio...he's too good...too strong...too fast.

              pacquiao by late fight stoppage.

Regardless of size i think JMM would systematically break Hatton down in a similar way Margarito did Cotto. Similar to how Floyd knocked him out

I think they both beat Hatton & I am not taking anything away from Hatton's brilliant career.

I'm really now sure about Marquez beating Hatton, he's the better skilled fighter but size overcomes skills sometimes. Enjoy your sake.
