Barrera nor Morales were in their prime. Their age says so, but they started boxing at like 15. Marquez was in his prime. There is no such thing as a boxer picking on old fighters or past prime fighters. Barrera and Morales were still good when PAc beat them. Pac showed me he was the truth they way he fought Marquez in their first fight. I didn't even know he was that good. I thought Kostya Tszyu fought a lot of old guys, but he didn't pick on them, he learned from them. Now if you want to talk about which Mexican fighter has picked on ex 140 lb fighters, you guessed it. Antonio Margarito...lol.

Your comparing a boxer vs. warriors. JMM was so boring for a long time that he couldn't get air time. Comparing JMM who is a technician and has been for years to guys that outright brawl.
EM started getting out of shape quite a bit and didn't have his heart in it. His speed and power diminished. Jump in weight didn't help. His prime weight was 122, 126 he was great at as well. At 130 he was world class but he fought like a heavy handed fighter not like he did when he was younger a boxer puncher. EM was involved in 15 plus wars.
Barrera doesn't have a good style for Pacman with his power and speed slowed he is less effective especially at a higher weight. Plus this man had fought wars, outright brawling.
Pacman fought these guys when they were past there prime. It is not always physical damage, sometimes it is mental and when your heart isn't in it it shows. EM wasn't hungry any more he'd accomplished more in his career then a lot of men, is considered an all time great. EM at 126 never would have taken a knee. Pacman feasts on the old gets good names on his resume but they weren't what the once were hence the word "Prime". EM's and MAB's physical gifts had diminished between their two fights. Let alone after another a third. Plus MAB and EM had 10+ other wars.
