Roy Jones will win a decision over Joe Calzaghe

Roy Jones Jr is NOT a shot fighter. He's looked fine in his past two fights, beating an undefeated up-and-coming contender Anthony Hanshaw (21-0) and than easily defeating Felix Trinidad.

If the fight were in Wales, I'd pick Joe to win in surroundings that he's used to. But Joe will be a bit uncomfortable in a new environment, Madison Square Gardens, a place Roy loves to fight. And the American crowd will be behind the great Roy Jones Jr!

Most importantly, just like in Holyfield vs. Lewis I, the New York area judges will be biased in favor of the American fighter.

Roy will fight well, but Joe will land more punches, dictate the pace of the fight most of the time and when the fight's over, will deserve to win a fairly close decision. But, Roy will win a close decision where it counts, on the judges' scorecards!

There is no possible way Roy Jones Jr. could beat the invincible Joe except by the Patricia Jarmin-Manning effect.

Yes. He will not receive fair scoring from the jingoistic New York area judges.

Have you ever seen Lewis vs. Holyfield I? Lewis won every round of the fight, but it was a draw on the scorecards.

It will be closer than that one, but Joe will deserve the decision win and the judges will give it to Roy.

You know what, i think you're wrong about this, but I will say that Holyfield vs. Lewis 1 was a goddamn disgrace.

Although I think I was drunk and called a draw by round 2. Ended up winning a couple of hundred bucks on that drunken bet. Thanks NY Athletic Commission!

losing a close decision is not robbery. but this fight i expect he will have more trouble then against kessler. and proll y better for boxing if joe loses, he'll stay around to prove himself.

                  OK man, Just checking.

Yea, I have seen that fight. It's an aweful decision, Lewis won is clearly, very clearly. But was called a draw, I am hoping such a disgrace doesn't take place with this fight.

But I can see where you are coming from.
