    With a Cherry on Top

The first world title defense of WBC super lightweight champion Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley (23-0, 11 KOs) was a successful and entertaining one as he defeated the determined Edner "Cherry Bomb" Cherry. Fresh off his impressive victory, Bradley is already seeking out new challenges. "I've received a lot of positive feedback from those in the boxing industry which makes me very happy," said Bradley. "I trained very hard for the Cherry fight as I always do and it showed in my performance. My goal is to be a long reigning champion and I will continue to train even harder to achieve that." When asked what fights interest him in the future, Bradley responded "I want to be in the biggest fights at 140. Unification with any of the champions at 140 interests me very much. I heard through the media that Juan Diaz's manager was interested in Juan challenging me and that would be a big fight as well as we have a history dating back to the amateurs. The fight would be made for TV and the fans for sure. Action from beginning to end. Just have to see what happens."

I think Bradley-Juan is a decent fight between 2 young guys that both could potentially be the future of the 140-147 class. I think if this fight cant be made the winner of Hatton-Paulie should fight Bradley.
