If JMM doesn't fight Campbell next, please don't start assuming he is scared. He gets ripped for all kinds of stuff, but the truth is he fought Pac twice (and it was his manager being foolish, not him, that ruined the original immediate rematch), he went to Indonesia to fight Paul, and now he moves up in weight and beats the linear champ.

JMM was ducked for years by Barrera and Morales, don't turn JMM into the one who ducks. He will likely fight Diaz next...yeah, Campbell beat him, but you guys aren't dumb...it will all come down to $$$ like it always does, for better or for worse.

                Campbell's invitation is pure ******ity.

He wants to fight JMM in two months. ******. JMM just fought this Saturday.

He wants to fight JMM on an Oscar undercard. ******. Why would GBP do that. JMM is a main eventer. Campbell is an undercard fighter at best, not JMM.

                ******ity.

lol...I was thinking NBA and Chris Paul, apparently. Yes, I meant John. Ooops.

As for JMM pricing himself out of a Morales fight, again, if that happened it was Nacho, not JMM, doing the negotiating. But everything I've ever heard from boxing journalists is that both Morales and Barrera's managements never wanted their guys to fight JMM, until of course GBP matched them up.

Your information about Morales is about as wrong as wrong can be. Did you ever hear Marquez's side of the story. You post articles of what other people think when you never quote the source. Marquez wanted to fight Morales and Barrera for years, but you weren't watching boxing then lol. When PAc started winning is when you came out of your closet.

Featherweight Juan Manuel Marquez lost the IBF's belt and could lose the WBA's crown. No promoter was willing to spend the minimum $50,000 on a purse bid for his overdue mandatory IBF title defense.

Top Rank did not bid on the fight because of ongoing problems with Marquez and Beristain.

"I have one fight left with [Marquez] and I'm not going to waste my money on a fight like that," Top Rank president Todd duBoef said. "The guy [Rakkiatgym] got knocked out in one round by [Manny] Pacquiao. If I'm going to do a fight, let's do one that's marketable, one that people are interested in. This is an unmarketable fight."

HBO, which televised the fight, loved it so much they asked for a rematch, and Top Rank began working on it. But Marquez rejected a career-high $750,000 for the fight, asking instead for $1.5 million -- the entire license fee that HBO had offered for the rematch.

Then, following Marquez's easy decision victory against Victor Polo on May 7, duBoef said Top Rank offered Marquez $1.5 million to fight Erik Morales this fall on HBO PPV. DuBoef said the Marquez camp asked for $3.5 million, a figure even the popular Morales has never been guaranteed for a fight.
