It could be 2024 and Vitali could be climbing into the ring with a walker....I'd still pick him to beat Peter early, and in dramatic fashion. He's too just too big and too aggressive for Sammy boy. Only other possible endings would be a DQ for Peter (only remotely possible), or an injury TKO for Klitchko (slightly more possible, but still pretty unlikely, given that he makes it through camp OK).

I'd like Peter to win because he fights often enough or tries to, but I fear he won't.
I just hope Vitali doesn't hold up the division with injuries and fights fallen through like he did before.

vitali UD or or mid to late stoppage

i think he will be too strong and too skilled for peter and will basically tee off on samuel until the later rounds where i think ring rust plays a part and he doesnt have enough gas left to finish peter

but if he has landed enough good shots before then maybe a TKO

peters best chance is to take it to vitali and swarm all over him, unsettle him and wear him out, taking advantage of vitali's ring rust and hope for a decision win

but i dont think peter has the stamina or quite frankly the tactical ring thinking to do that

OR a scenario i think is likely also

vitali's body breaks down mid fight and peter takes a TKO

dotn be suprised as 4 years is along time and vitali is susceptable to injuries

but yeah this fight is very close

It's hard to say since Vitali has had such a long layoff and issues with injuries, but I will say Peter has the slight advantage.

If Vitali's body doesnt break down I see him dominating Peter. If McCline dropped Peter 3 times and had him badly hurt the more patient and skilled Klitschko should finishing him in the middle rounds.

People like Randall Hopkirk and DavrosPromulos thought Peter would defeat Vitali.
