Definitely intentional. Tszyu has hinted that it changed the complexion of the fight. Too much of a gentleman to complain outright.

First i ever heard of it ....in fact i can remember watching a video Tszyu did where he had nothing but prase for the way hatton fought that night and that he was just beat by the younger fighter on the night ! In fact he said being in the ring with hatton that night was like Hell fire !

Watching the Tszyu fight, and that intentional lowblow was one of the biggest ******* moves in recent memory.

Hatton fans will say Tszyu was retaliating, i think they forget that, that was Tszyu retaliating because of all the illegal stuff Hatton was already getting away with.

Wasn't saying Ricky was right in doing what he did. He was wrong. I just think its ****** for the TS to call Ricky an ******* for doing something that his opponent had been doing to him prior to that on numerous occasions.
