    Hatton will suck more now!

Hatton fans dont get mad at me or anything but with FLoyd Sr training Ricky this will undoubtedly be the biggest mistake hatton ever makes.

when you have a fighter who for most of his career learns to fight in a mauling style suddenly change to a trainer that doesnt even understand that style what you will have is an amatuer fighter trying to use skills that needed to be taught in grade school.

you cant just switch industries, you cant go from working as a computer programer to a construction worker. as humans we are just that limited. LIMITED that is the word!

and mark my words people this switch will do nothing for Ricky but make him more confused in how to fight. and paulie Malinaggi will take advantage of all of Rickys blunders come November.

this truly was the biggest mistake Hatton ever has made, even more so than fighting Floyd JR

I think I'm gonna have to agreed on this. At first I was interested in the idea of a rematch but as time has passed my desire to see one is gone. If Mayweather comes back I'd rather see him fight Cotto. I don't care if Margarito beat Cotto, I see Cotto-Mayweather being way more competitive than Margarito-Mayweather. Hatton should fight Malignaggi and then call it quits. The only other person I can see him fighting is Pacquiao which to my dismay will probably end up happening next year.

hatton can't beat floyd, but i guess it'd be wrong not to give him another shot at redemption. im pretty sure hatton just wants to go 12 rounds.

That's nuts pullcounter. It would be wrong if they fought again. If PBF does come out of retirement he should fight Cotto, Mosley or Margarito. You don't rematch that kind of fight. Hell, Ricky almost got knocked out in his last fight if it wasn't for that ref allowing him to tie his shoe. Why don't Johnny Reb and the other Hatton fans talk about that ref?

Hatton is just looking for an excuse to not stay at 140...knowing damn well anything higher is career suicide

Hatton will never be able to beat Floyd. I don't even think he'll be able to beat Malignaggi. He should stick to 140 because the next time he leaves the division he probably loses again.

Nobody wants a big PPV fight to end with a DQ and the referee won't want to be involved with that type of controversy, so it isn't going to happen, but the guy does not fight clean.

Hitting and holding is illegal in boxing, and it makes for boring fights. Cortez easily could have started with the point deductions way way earlier.
Hatton does have some nice skills, particularly with his lead left hand, when he rips the hooks to the body and mixes in left hooks and uppercuts with his jab, but he just holds most of the time instead.

Do you guys remember his first US fight against Juan Urango when he shut the guy out for the first seven rounds so he just decided to hug him to death for the last 5? What the hell was that?!! Is that supposed to impress American audiences? Is this guy supposed to be exciting?
Well he should've deducted them from Mayweather.

People miss the point when assessing Cortez's performance, it was neccesarily cos he was breaking up the holding - a lot of which was initiated by Floyd - it was the fact that he layed all the blame at Hatton.

It completely contadicting his performance in the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight where he allowed Hopkins to do the waltz with Joe for 12 rounds without interference.

And we saw in the Soto fight how he was jumping in whilst punches were still being thrown.

Hatton is actually an underrated boxer. Watch his fight with Tackie. Those who think hes a wrestler tend to be insulated Yanks who havent seen him fight prior to Tszyu where he changed his tactics to smother Tszyu - which were the right tactics for that fight. However he got caught in a rut of repeating them whilst he would be better served getting back to basics. Hopefully Floyd Sr will bring that out in him.

predictable bias ricky hatton **** sucker!!!

hatton is nothing - mayweather was in 3rd gear all through that fight on till he decided to step it up a few times, floyd thought this guy was better then he was and it shocked him when he realised how **** hatton really is... believe me this was so easy it was surprising!!!!

hatton wont even beat pauli so whats the point planning fights for this over rated bum!!! (if he is so good why did he avoid mosley, judah, witter, cotto and even bradly during his so called reign plus he has the IBO belt what the **** his that ?????)
