This guy is tall, but unlike williams or hearns he isn't a toothpick, is Antonio Margarito the biggest welterweight ever? I can't think of any bigger. This guy easily looks like a middleweight.

Hugo Pineda was one of the biggest welterweights I've ever seen. He stood 6 foot 1, and when he fought Tito, entered the ring at 167 pounds. His upper body looked like that of a light heavyweight. and his legs weren't exactly toothpicks either. With his size, I have no idea how he was able to make those lower weights. Oddly enough, Pineda started his career at featherweight.

Robinson, Williams, Hearns and Baldomir are other very big welters that come to mind. But as you said, those guys looked thin at welter. Margo does not.
