it was at hard rock cafe in time square at noon today. it was broadcasted live on hbo.com today. there was plenty of media there, so there should be plenty of footi available soon.
i was there. it was sick. roy is the man. he autographed my gloves. calzaghe was kinda standoffish and didnt engage with the fans at all. it wouldnt have been hard for him to do so since it was limited access and mostly press with only a few fans that were able to get in, but whatever. i feel good about roys chances though calzaghe is bigger in person than i imagined and taller than roy with a longer reach, too. his head is huge. he looks very different then he did around the kessler fight. he grew out his hair, and had it slicked back. his head looks huge. perhaps it was the accummultion of b-hop right hands that joppy-ed up his dome piece. -
also, roy is typically very late for these press conferences, but not today. everything started right on time. he is taking this fight extremely seriously and will be coming with the full game that he is capable of bringing at this stage. calzaghe will motivate him to get up much more than hanshaw or ajamu, thats for damn sure....Comment
