Well then I stand (or in this case, sit) corrected. Maybe David Haye's bored and decided to throw out names. 5 minutes later they'll list Joe Mesi as a potential opponent.

i thought the same when i heard haye was going to fight kingpin johnson.
a big ugly fasthanded dangerous guy.
if it goes thru it will be interesting to see if haye can hang with chambers.
but i too will be suprise to see it go thru.
figure his team is going to line him up with someone ranked in the thirtys or above.

Well chambers is a cruiserweight anyway so i wouldnt think they would mind putting him in with Haye. I am waiting till its announced by Haye him self.

Wlad has said he's going to fight Haye after his mandatory, so I doubt Haye will risk that payday against a live opponent.

Chambers has no power so will be a safe entry for Haye into the HW division.
But probably a boring fight if Chambers executes his plan well.

Chambers is probably a lighter puncher than mormeck or enzo but still has some pop, I think it would be a good first heavyweight fight but saying that chambers is a cruiserweight.
