    what a great style matchup.

the aggressive counter-puncher vs. the high volume, low power hitting bull.
marquez will win but it will be a close fight. diaz should not fight at long range. he needs to get in close and and fight on the inside and rip combos. jmm can't do to diaz what campbell did and that's diaz's best bet.

neither guy can hurt the other guy. at 135 marquez has to be smart and fight the perfect fight every fight, but with diaz he can afford to make a few mistakes because diaz doesn't hit hard enough.

at the end of the day skills pay bills and jmm is just too smart for diaz.

WOW!This would be a great fight. Marquez by decision. Diaz would get hit by too many combinations off counterpunches.

JMM has tremendous stamina, fast hands with power and he moves well. Diaz swarms his opponents with speed and volume to soften them up until they wilt under pressure but I doubt he'd be as gung ho and successful with that when JMM starts to pick him apart with counters and his own attacks. Pac is even faster than Diaz yet JMM is able to exchange punches with him on almost even terms, but Diaz lacks the ace that Pac has up his sleeves, which is Power. JMM's smart, very focused and alert. He's got a lot of options and can adjust to whatever Diaz comes up with. The kid is tough but I expect a UD win for JMM.
