Why didn't Casa get a count on the second knockdown?

It's not like he was completely out like David Diaz, Ricky Hatton or Rachman (by Lewis KO).

The footage I was watching was streaming so it was about 15 fps. I couldn't get a definite look at how bad it was hurt. It didn't look like he was out of it. He would have lost anyway. He still deserved another count.

i already make a point on this.. that was wrong.... **** the ref for that... he was already out.. but he prevent us from watching casa sit on his ass receiving the full 10 count!!...

he got knocked out of the ring before he should've at least got a 10 count for that onw plus the round was almost over.

I thought he should have gotten a count, especially after rewatching it, his eyes looked clear and he would've gotten a minutes' rest as there was only 5 seconds left in the round when it was stopped.

Anyways, as I said in another thread, I don't have big problems with the stoppage.

Casamayor was done after the second KD, but I would've had no problem with the ref giving him a count and letting him continue. It's fairly certain that he'd have been caught with another right hand in the 12th and been stopped, and even if he hadn't been stopped, the KD cost him any chance of a win, even with bias judges. Before the KD, I was giving him the 11th round, but even with that he would've needed a KO to win on my scorecards. Without any knockdowns, and with Casamayor winning the 11th and 12th, he would've finished 5 rounds to 7 for Marquez on my cards. It was a fairly close fight to that point, but he'd been doing just enough to give nearly every round away after the 2nd.

Both fighters were in great shape and able to fight a full 12, and whatever any of the Pacsuckers want to say, Casamayor didn't look like an old man at all, he was just being outboxed most of the rounds by a technically superior boxer.
