Even during Juan Diaz's reign Casa wasn't the best... it was Diaz. And since Diaz just got beat by Granpa Nate, it should be gramps that gets the recognition, not Casa. No person in his right mind would deny that after Casa's performance against Santa Cruz who David Diaz KTFO to get his strap.

Even the WBC ordered a rematch because of the controversial "win" but Casa would rather forget about Santa Cruz so he was stripped. Then he goes for a cheaper INTERIM title and barely survived Katsidis. Same also-ran that Juan Diaz just beat. On paper, that makes Casa as much a paper champ as David Diaz, only David became one by doing what Casa couldn't which was to beat Santa Cruz.
