According to the RING magazine, JMM is #1 and Joan Guzman is #2. Valero is #3. After this weekends circumtances I can be pretty sure Valero will be #1. What a change from a year ago, when JMM and Pacman ruled the division.

The only reason is that 130 is in a state of flux because a lot of people have left it to go for the money at lightweight. I believe also Linares is moving up from featherweight. I believe Roberto Guerrero moved up too.

The list is somewhat outdated.
Fight news has Soto as kingpin and that's more a default ranking than anything else.
