problems that need to be fixed in boxing

    okay first of all

promoters need to quit being so greedy and work together to make the best fights

ppv needs to be abandoned, seriously, and boxing needs to be shown on free to air television again

all the major sanctioning bodies need to merge into one and sanction one world champ in each weight class...(and then it can branch into continental and national commisionsfor those champs)

back to traditional 8 weight classes

    same day weigh ins

    who agrees?

I'm sure they'll listen to you since ****** people keep spending money on the ppv's. If people didn't spend money on ppv, then ppv wouldn't exist.

The problem is that none of the major television networks (ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC) will broadcast fights live. NBC had David Tua on one day, and the ratings were good, but NBC decided to pull the plug on it because it was deemed violent. Yet NBC has NHL hockey in its line up. Just another slap in boxing's face.

boxing would be much healthier and a mainstream sport again if these ideas were implemented
