I don't think people understand what just happened. Marquez beat a master of boxing a weight class above him and KO'd him.

I was shocked that he was able to do this and this has cemented him as one of the greatest fighter of all time.

People (and by people I mean pacfans) are already trying to downplay it on the note of Casamayor's age. Casting aside the facts that he was the man at Lightweight (lineal Champ), was on a 5 fight strak with 3 KO's, and had an epic battle with Katsidis just a few months ago.

Aside from the KO win, Sta Cruz knock him down and schooled him in almost every round.. Casamayor won a lot of rounds against Marquez and ewas hitting him a lot..

Marquez is only a few months younger then Casamayor so that don't mean ****. What i saw was a dangerour Casamayor he had me worrired through out the fight but damn, Marquez is without a doubt a great fighter. He is imo, at or above Morales and Barrera and i used to be a huge fan of both and still am.
