Last minute of the 11th...JMM Caught him with a gorgeous right hand, perfect, on the button, hurt him bad, then finished him with about 15 punches, ending with an uppercut, a few hooks, and another right. One of the prettiest KO's Juan has had.

Marquez was way ahead on the scorecards, especially if you count the two knockdowns, with only one round left. So he would have won anyway.

It was a good stoppage, better than the stoppage than Casamayor vs. Katsidis in my opinion.

JMM to win wasn't a very impressive pick, he was a very, very heavy favorite coming in.

I think Casamayor should have gotten a chance to try and rally because he does have good power and you never know what could happen, there was also I believe only 5 seconds left in the round but as I said, I don't have a problem with it.

Casamayor vs Katsidis was stopped too late IMO and I thought Katsidis was more hurt.

Ray Torres is the worst translator. I didn't hear Marquez mention Mayweather's name once. Did anyone actually know whether he said that. Doesn't Marquez know that Mayweather is retired?

Anyway, man, I'm over the moon. What a fight that was. Marquez once again capping off a huge fight and showing why he is one of the best fighters of this era and up there with the best P4P right now (better in my mind ).

Woooo! Great weekend of fighting. That helped to calm the frustration of Guzman not fighting. What a disappointment that was, but what a great day now.

They asked him if he thought he was the best fighter today, and Marquez said that Mayweather was but now its him.

I don't know man, I've never seen Casa hurt like that before. I think he was done. He certainly didn't look upset by the stoppage and was lying in a very odd angle when he fell the last time. I'm pretty sure he was done. He didn't try to get up either.

It was an ok stoppage. He would not have come back from it I think. He was very wobbly after the first knock down and then after the second, if he had gotten back up, I don't think he could have done anything different to change it.

Cool, cheers mate. I didn't think I heard his name but obviously I missed it. Well, with Mayweather out he has a very good claim for being the number one guy. He could not have won in a more impressive fashion. A win over casa is good enough in itself, but to have knocked him out when no one else has been able to, especially with all the guys he's fought is very, very impressive.

You make a good point....I remember Corrales catching Casamayor with a wicked hard shot and putting him on his shorts, but he wasn't anywhere near as hurt as he was when caught by that right hand from Marquez, and I know Corrales could ****...one of the heaviest hitters in the division. Makes me wonder how heavy handed Marquez really is. I mean, I know it was late in the fight, and Casamayor really didn't see it coming, but he was WAY the **** down ***** street....he'd have needed a 30 second count to recover from that, he basically had no chance when he got up. Too badly hurt.
