People love to hate Lampley alot but when he isn't on a PPV everyone mentions how the commentary sucks.

Well, I figured that any PPV "event" with Casamayor in the featured bout couldn't be something I'd be able to pay $45 for and feel good about later. I wouldn't pay to see him regardless, but even if that weren't the case, I certainly wouldn't pay that much to see him. I was thinking more in the lines of $19.95, or maybe even $14.95.

One of the better PPV's I remember was that ESPN event that was $30, and had Mosely, Cintron/Margarito, etc. Some of the best money I ever spent. Still, most of the best fights I've seen were free, or came with regular subscriptions. Lewis/Klitchko, Corrales/Castillo I, and many others.

These commentators are better than Kellerman, Lewis and Papa, although they are not as good as Lampley, Steward, and Merchant.
