    Hmmmm,

He has some good ones. I think the Judah one was good, he was hurt early, came onand broke Zab down. Zab fought well and it was a tough fight but Cotto fought through it.

The Mosley fight was a top performance as well, i don't need to explain why.

Also the Margarito fight, he lost. But for the first half of the fight he looked as good as he ever has, and better imo.

Cotto's win over Quintana was maybe his most impressive. The Mosley one was good too given the level of opposition. Cotto had more trouble with Mosley than I expected though.

I thought Shane would stop Cotto when the fight was made.....and after the fight I felt Shane should've gotten anything but an L.

Do you expect Shane to trouble Marg?

Cotto won 7-5 on my card against Mosley, I expected it to be wider, like a 9-3 type decision.

I think Mosley will have some moments against Margarito, but as a whole, not really really trouble Tony.

There's a reason Mosley clinches so much more nowadays, and that's his age. In his late 30s, he can't fight at the same pace he did in his younger days. Margarito is relentless and fights at a ridiculous pace. Mosley may outbox Margarito in spots, but not for long enough stretches, and it's not his style anyway to box and use the ring and move laterally. The whole "power-boxing" thing is an aggressive style, but also leaves more openings for his opponent as Mosley has always left himself very open down the middle.

I doubt Mosley has the power to stop Margarito without giving a real sustained beating for a long period of time, neither does he have the activity level to outpoint Margarito in a war. And not the boxing style to be a slick Mayweather-type to dance and move his way to a dull decision.

Indeed. That's his career defining performance, I really do believe.

Seriously Cotto's victory over Mosley wasnt his best fight, He was tired towards the end and was push by Mosley who was 36 yrs old.

His most impressive victory was against the southpaw/slick boxer in Quitana, He box perfectly and overwhelmed quitana before destroying him to the body.

I agree that Marg's work rate will trouble ANY fighter at 147, but I see Shane winning a close hard fought decision......Cotto's movement puzzled Shane so much that he became frustrated and fought a desperate back half of the fight.....but Tony won't present that problem........Shane's problem is gettin' away from a descent jab.....any fighter who ever beat Shane did it with a jab.....unless Tony finds a jab from some where, I don't see him winnin' this on workrate alone. Shane has fought harder punchers than Tony, so he should have no problem dealin' with his power.
