i hope this game is a little faster than the last one. The punches seemed really slow when you threw them and they could be dodged pretty easy.
i also hope that ea make the straight punches far more powerful becuase in round 3 the straight right seemed as if it had no power what so ever.
i cant wait for it.

Doesn't EA have to pay the fighters to put their likenesses in the game? Or the heirs of their estate if they are dead.

I think that's the reason you don't see all kinds of different guys in there as well as programming limitations.

Yeah thats right exactly. So EA probably try to find a good selection of boxers that they think will appeal to fans/non-fans while making sure that it is cost-affective for them.

But I hope they go all out on this one

and also better managing over fight scheduling.

I wish a better company would publish a game like this, frickin EA never ships a finished product and their games always seem buggy.

Anything's better than 2k Prizefighter. EA are very lazy yeah, but sometimes they make some gems. NHL 09 is amazing this year.
