I simply think this is a lie... During the fight, when Haussler sees that Kessler is still not affected after 6 rounds, he'll start to wonder "Wow, this guy is really really good." And that'll probably help Kessler a bit, so he won't have to go 12 rounds.

Even though I'm from Denmark, I don't think it's cool to lie.

Btw. he says that his management is in contact with Pavliks management. So this fight is a MUSTWIN for Kessler.
Great news that Team Kessler is in contact with team Pavlik. I doubt that Pavlik would want Kessler before Abraham though.

Or ever. For Pavlik, fighting Kessler would be like trying to fight your older brother. You think you can do it, but he's just that bit stronger and that bit better at everything than you are.

Hahah. Why so witty today Abadger??? Are you on happy-pills???

According to the latest polls here in NSB it appears most posters think Pavlik would win. Odd that the polls in early spring had Kessler by a landslide. Then Pavlik KO's welsh garbageman Forgett and then Pavlik can beat anybody Perhaps a poll with Pavlik vs. Klit could prove interesting

I'm not as confident. I need to be shown Mikkel can deal with adversity in the ring. I am yet to see it. The only fight he did encounter any adversity in I feel he reacted poorly. He is definatley more skilled than Pavlik, but we know Pavlik can react well when in trouble. Still a question mark over Mikkel in that respect.

Well Kessler was hurt against Sartison in round 1. Kessler came back and actually won the round.

I'm just a happy kind of guy.

I agree the turnaround in Pavlik's reputation post-Rocket Man was awesome. based on the same criteria you would think Joe would have been P4P #1 about seven years ago, after all, most of his opponents were probably about as good as Lockett.

No problem. Pavlik might have the tools to be a great fighter!

                    That's not good....

The way guys like Hopkins, Mayweather and Calzaghe reigned unbeaten for so long is because they treated every fighter the same. Maybe thie fight looks like a mismatch, but you never know..

"There wont be any camp at BIG BEAR mountain as I had when I prepared for Dimitri Sartison, but it wont be a problem as I'm already in great shape" Kessler says.

On the danish website lionheartboxing Kessler's trainer commented on the article. He said: "Calm down. Mikkel is in excellent shape. He just went 6 hard rounds with Evans without problems. Plenty of time to make a schedule for Mikkel."

Perhaps Kessler is underestimating his opponent. I find it odd that he havent even got his trainingschedule ready. The fight is only a little over a month away!
It sounds like he's training anyways, just not going away to do it.
