Well, Pac chooses his fights carefully and he seems to be avoiding the top lightweights for the time being so I'm sure he'd be more than happy to allow Marquez to clean out the division and then face him rather than assume the risk of doing it himself.

It's not taking a risk in terms of legacy because losing to DLH wont diminish it but losing to Campbell, Joan, or Casamayor certainly would.

legacy wise your right, but pac going up to 147 after only 1 fight at 135 is taking a risk and even haters cant deny that.

IMO De La Hoya is a bigger risk than anyone at lightweight right now. Diaz was testing the waters at 135 and he was still a decent titlest (beat Santa Cruz who should have beaten Casa)

Everybody in the lightweight division got themselves booked and you say Pac is avoiding?

Pacquiao is not ducking anyone.. How can you duck a Lightweight for fighting a Welterweight? Pac will beat the **** out of every LW out there.

Fighting a 5'10 Giant, a middleweight frame is a big risk.. This could be a decisive fight for Pacquiao career wise and healthwise..

If Pacquiao wins this one, can you just imagine how the world wants a shot at him.
