2nd time I came out fast, to push him back and threw loads of shots. He was too elusive so i couldn't land clean, and battered me with counters though...
I didn't know you boxed. What weight do you fight at and what style of boxer are you?

Kneecap him and get him off of his feet. And pay the points you owe other posters.

Well there's no "right" way. Usually skill wins fights, not size, you'll see that at any level, just ask Floyd Mayweather.

A couple of ways I like to use.

                    1. Constantly move around the ring, make him walk into your shots and don't be there for his offense. Get off first, fake, have some fun in there. But as we saw in the Cotto fight, sometimes you have to establish yourself in there. Throw flurries, and quickly clinch.

                    2. When a guy is trying to physically impose his size onto you, a strategy I love to see used is to use your legs to push him back, "outbully the bully". If you saw Holyfield-Tyson this is a good example. Use your shoulders and legs to push the bigger man back, so he can't get as much leverage on his shots as much as he would if he was coming forward all the time. This also tires him out.
